Should I Go 501c3?

I am thinking about opening a small restaurant (and I have no idea how to do that).
But this restaurant will only be open one meal per week.
And instead of including a movie or nightclub act, the meal would be accompanied by a worship service (I'm a minister).

I've never opened my own official church before, so I don't know about the ramifications of going the traditional "church" route, but I do see this more as a religious based customer service business than a typical church setting. Come for the food - stay for the experience - type of dining.

Is this a business license or do I apply to open a church instead?
Doesn't 501c3 mean I can't make a profit?
What about going the "Board of Trustees" method and just create a trust? And How?

Not much experience with the law on this topic and I want to do it right.

If you wish to do it right, create a business plan.
Once you have done that, discuss the plan with a business law attorney.
