Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft What's the big deal?

I'm sixteen years old and I have been diagnosed with kleptomania. I honestly don't think there is something wrong with me. My mom keeps saying, "It's not your fault, you're sick, you can't help it, we'll get through this together." But I don't see what the big deal is. It's not like I shoplift every day, just when the urge strikes me and I haven't been caught yet. Everyone keeps looking at me like I'm going to drop dead and my mom is worried. I don't get it. Does anyone understand?

To be honest I am not sure this is the correct forum for you. We are here to help those who have shoplifted. since you feel it snot big deal and you have yet to caught I dont see where we can do you much good.
